Olek Lejbzon & Co. restores historic residential, commercial, government & religious building interiors. We can remodel existing features, replicate, or refinish any type of interior architectural woodwork and plaster.

Rooms of paneling & wainscot at University Club had finish stripped, Dutchmen inlays of white oak into missing door and carved elements, and were stained and refinished.

This book-matched Rosewood-veneered elevator cab was sanded through the veneer in 1 sq.ft. areas. Our artists grained the poplar showing through and faux-finished the spots to precisely match the rosewood pattern repeating around the cab. It was not possible to see that the veneer had been damaged following the repair. There were approximately twenty cabs in similar condition at this prominent building lobby in NYC.

Whether you are restoring a damaged parquetry border in an ornate Victorian floor, refinishing a floor in a NY restaurant that can't afford to be shut down, or fabricating a new custom wide board knotty cherry or walnut floor, or machining old timbers or sheathing into exquisite flooring, we rise to the task and relish restoring or creating floors with character.

Walnut railings and steel balusters restored for this Federal style flying spiral staircase.

This Quarter -sawn English Oak paneled room was used as the student lounge at Baruch College for more than two decades. Extensive Dutchman inlays and carving and planing was necessary to repair the damages.
