| Olek Lejbzon & Co. custom fabricates architectural millwork, including built-in, freestanding & kitchen cabinetry of any style, paneling & wainscot, moldings & trim, turnings, carvings, flooring, windows & doors. Our services include creating shop drawings for approval prior to construction. We can fabricate to match any historic construction style or technique, including blind through mortise & tenon, using solid or stave core construction. Windows and doors may have arched or radiused mullions, stiles or rails. Mullions are fabricated as single pieces from stile to stile, and rail to rail. The mullions are interlocked rather than pieced together horizontally from stile to muntin as has been commonly done in the US for many years. Styles as elaborate as carved Gothic screens, to Louis XV. |

These new windows are all true-divided lite (T.D.L), with radiused muntins composed of 1/8" thick laminated pine bent and glued into the proper radius prior to shaping. Pine is generally treated with a preservative to improve decay resistance. Custom windows can be weight or spiral balanced, and can be glazed with thermal double glass, or restoration glass. |
