| Constructed as General Contractor 10,000 sq.ft. Federal Style Dutch gambrel cedar shake roof Center Hall design residence with extensive custom millwork, including all T.D.L. windows with heavy restoration glass, 3-story staircase with continuous handrail to third floor, elliptical 2'6" radius at ends, with period style pierced fretwork stair brackets and carriage ornamentation, mortise and tenon raised panel doors, wide board walnut, cherry, and oak flooring, Dolly Varden profile pine siding, with modillion bracket and Greek key cornice, with interior wainscot, and paneling. Solid granite fieldstone wall fabrication, 680'L x 24" thick x 5'4"H (max) with rough hewn and hand chiseled face stone , in straight, curved, and corner shapes. Bluestone walk fabrication. Molding of brick fireplace surround into ogee and arched shapes with hand chiseled ashlar and smooth keystone. Constructed nine masonry fireplaces. Designed, fabricated and installed hand-painted silk chinoiserie style wall coverings, and extensive drapery fabrication with palmets, valances and other treatments. Extensive exterior trim, with solid antique cedar Tuscan columns and pilasters. |
