Oak Lounge (former courtroom) - Baruch College, New York City

Scope of Work/Nature of Work:
Restoration of ca. 1911 brown English quarter sawn oak molded raised panel and carved millwork in former Children's Court. Refinishing of all wood, Dutchman inlay of damaged or missing sections of moldings and carved elements, replacement of missing panels, reattachment of water-damaged panels. Fabrication of broken brass door hardware to match existing.

Building suffered from little and poor quality maintenance.
 
The Oak Lounge was the Student Lounge for over 20 years; it looked more like the home to the Delta Psi Fraternity in the "Animal House".
