Rococo Period Polychrome Leather Screen, ca.3rd quarter of 18th century.

Scope of Work:
Remove edge tape and leather from wood frames, remove old oxidized varnish, repair frame joinery, and adhere linen backing, infill missing paint, apply tinted varnish.

 
Screen cleaned of old brown varnish.
Screen with tinted varnish applied to ground.
